Forbes publishes its Midas List each year to identify individuals who deploy venture capital to create wealth for investors. Its formula for ranking takes several factors into account, including the market capitalization of portfolios and degree of involvement with startups. Forbes conducts extensive reporting and surveys of professional venture capitalists, angel investors, lawyers and bankers. In the 2003 Midas List, Haque was ranked the number-two investor and Younger was ranked fortieth. Both Haque and Younger were featured in the top 100 of the Forbes Midas List for 2002.
“The Forbes Midas List confirms the world-class talent on our board,” said John Hubinger, AmberPoint CEO. “Our Board of Directors is made up of visionaries and business leaders with tremendously successful track records, individuals who have not only been very good at recognizing opportunity but have played very active roles in guiding their companies to prosperity. That such a collection of business leaders stand behind AmberPoint is further validation of our company and the market we address.”
