Web Services Management Leader Playing Active Role in Security and Management Initiatives

Oakland, California, December 17, 2002 -- AmberPoint, Inc., a leading provider of Web services management solutions, today announced that it has joined the Organization for the Advancement of Structured Information Standards (OASIS). As a contributing member, AmberPoint is lending its world-class experience in distributed computing and management frameworks to assist OASIS in driving the development and adoption of Web services standards. AmberPoint joins more than 600 other companies and individuals who have joined OASIS since its launch in 1993 (under the original name SGML Open).

AmberPoint provides comprehensive management solutions that enable organizations to reap the benefits of XML and Web services-based applications by making them easy to monitor, manage, secure and upgrade.
