Extended Agentless Policy Enforcement
AmberPoint also announced the extension of its agentless capabilities to BEA WebLogic Server 9.2, enabling it to provision WebLogic Server to execute security policies without the need to install AmberPoint agents in the environment. As a result of this support AmberPoint customers can easily leverage WebLogic Server’s native security capabilities.
AmberPoint offers agentless policy enforcement options in addition to agent-based mechanisms. With its agentless architecture, AmberPoint delegates runtime policy execution to the SOA infrastructure whenever policy-capable infrastructure is in place.
